We take care of just about everything related to moving. Local moves, long-distance moves, packing, loading, unloading, and even cleaning or junk removal if you need that before you go. Some people call us for a full move from one house to another. Others just need help loading a truck or moving furniture around. We do both. Over the years we have moved homes, offices, shops, and small warehouses. Every job gets the same attention - careful, steady, and no rushing.
Brother Movers started more than 15 years ago. It began with just a couple of us and one truck. We built the business slowly, one move at a time. Most of our work still comes from people who used us before or from someone they told. That is what we are proud of - being known for honest work and no surprises.
We are based in Lawrence, Massachusetts, and we move people all over nearby towns - Andover, Methuen, Salem, Haverhill, and even across into southern New Hampshire. If you are not sure whether we can come to you, just call or message us. If it is within driving distance, we usually find a way to make it work.
Yes, we are fully licensed and insured. It matters to us that your things are protected. We have moved everything from old pianos to new TVs and glass tables. Our team knows how to handle both heavy and fragile items. We wrap, pad, and load everything with care. You will see the difference in how we work because we never throw boxes or stack carelessly.
We stay with you from start to finish. When you call, you talk to one of us, not a call center. When we give you a quote, that is the quote. We do not add hidden charges later or change prices on the day of the move. We show up on time, we listen, and we get the job done. It is simple, but that is what people remember. Some customers even tell us we made their move “less stressful than they expected,” which is the best thing we can hear.
Yes, we can pack for you if you want. Some people like to do it themselves, but if you do not have the time or just want it handled properly, we bring all the materials like boxes, tape, bubble wrap, everything. We label and sort it all so that unpacking later is easier. You can also ask us to pack only the delicate items if that is what you prefer.
We do. Not everyone can plan weeks ahead, and we understand that. If you need to move suddenly, like maybe your lease ended early or something came up , you can call us and we will do what we can. We also work weekends, and sometimes evenings, to make sure people can move when they need to. We try not to say no if it is at all possible.
It helps to set aside the things you will carry yourself like documents, chargers, clothes for a few days, and so on. If you are packing on your own, have the boxes ready and labeled. We will handle all the lifting and loading. You can walk us through what needs extra care when we get there. It is better if someone from the family is around to guide us at the start because after that, we usually take it from there.

Things happen and we understand. Just let us know as soon as possible so we can adjust the schedule. If you tell us early, there is no issue at all. We try to be understanding because we know moving can get complicated sometimes.
